For the past 30 years, I have proudly served the people of the 16th Judicial District as one of eight judges. After much prayer and reflection, I ended my season on the bench knowing that just as He raised me, God will raise another to fill the seat.
My commitment to the bench, like many areas of my life, has always been rooted in service. One of my greatest joys has been showing up to work each day knowing the task at hand...to ensure the fair administration of justice, whether presiding over an armed robbery case or a property dispute between neighbors. The work has been fulfilling, inspiring, and, at times, daunting. But no matter the challenges, it has been the most rewarding time in my career.
With all that I am, I thank my family and the people of this community for entrusting me with that monumental task. I am eternally grateful for that opportunity.
